a photograph

So tonight I hiked out to one of the bays near the hotel. I had seen there was another bay aound the point and i figured there would be some cool stuff overe ther...but I was wrong. There was a neat little boat that i got a cool picture of. So I started to hike back towards campus but i decided to go through a little resteraunt district by the bay that I passed through on the way to the other bay. It was pretty neat and there was this one stretch of boardwalk that had some cool lights and the boats were lined up against the dock. So I stood there for about 20 minutes trying to get ths artsy picture (which of corse never turned out how I wanted it to). I was gettin down on the ground and layin all over the place. I'm sure I looked like a moron. All of a sudden I hear a little girls voice. I look up and was very surprised to see she was right in my face. After I caught my breath I tried to tell her, in Greek, that I did not speak Greek. But sense I don't speak greek she didn't understand me. Imagine that. I'm sure she was asking me what the heck I was doing on the floor with my camera. She kept pointing to my camera. "no, you cannot have my camera," i thought. So instead i offered to take a picture. When I showed it to her, she thought it was the coolest thing in the world. She proceeded to take my camera and show her friend. I, assuming he was stealing my camera, reacted a little harshly. So instead we both went and showed her friend. I took a picture of both of them. She also thought it was very awesome. So we made it a family afair. We got pictures of the mother, father, aunt and cousins. It was cool they all thought it was so neat and it seemed to make their night. Here I was trying to be complex and picky about a photo when just a simple snap shot made 8 people smile.
